M. E. Turner
Residence

These
photos were submitted by Todd Howell. "It took a few minutes
to realize that the house in the photo was located at 589 West
Ave. and I lived in it from 1948 till 1965. It just looked different
then. My father, Harry Howell was born in the house and many years
later he bought it from Mrs. Morris. It was torn down and a new
house is there now."
"The
image on the top was taken in 1948 when my father bought the house
and the image on the right shows the place after he put siding
on it. The porch on the right side was closed in before he purchased
it which is why it looks so different from your photo. It was
built about 1890."
